With SCHENKER parcel
Collect,
you can send goods to private persons and small companies in Sweden. The
consignee chooses when and where the delivery is to take place. Schenker have
approximately 1,100 agents to choose from.
Below are the specific
conditions that apply for Collect parcels. Otherwise, the same conditions apply
as for SCHENKERparcel domestic,

Number of items per
consignment
Maximum of one (1) item/consignment.
Weight
The maximum weight is 20 kg/item. Larger items
are transported as HomeDelivery.
Dimensions per item
The maximum length per item is 1.2 m. Length +
circumference, maximum 2 m.
Items that exceed the
specified dimensions and weight limits are subject to a supplementary charge of
SEK 250/item.
Input data
A transport agreement with agreement
prerequisites must be signed. The consignor must ensure that Schenker receives
all the necessary information in EDI file format. Schenker Web TA can also be

Registration and booking
This is done via EDI-based communication with
Schenker following agreement.
Delivery details
The following delivery data must be stated:
– Consignor’s customer details
Customer number Customer name
– Consignee details
Name
Address
Postcode
Town
Daytime telephone number
– Goods details
Weight
Bank giro account number (for COD)
– Choice of parcel agent (issuing point)
The nearest agent is shown automatically in the system when
you register the consignee’s address and postcode. You can also specify from
which agent the consignee wishes to collect parcels.
Parcel agents are located
mainly in more densely populated areas. Local deviations may occur. In sparsely
populated areas the distance to the nearest parcel agent is greater.
Registration and booking
of collection
Registration of parcel
details takes place via EDI. A collection booking can be made at the same time,
unless agreed otherwise , e.g. fixed collection.
Timetable
The timetable includes the locations we serve
and current transport times in Sweden.
Distribution
Distribution to a selected agent is made
according to the ordinary timetable.
Notification
Notification is made by
letter and therefore the consignee’s postal address must always be given.
Consignee return
The consignee can return goods by using the
accompanying label for return consignments.
Uncollected parcels
Uncollected parcels are
returned to the consignor 15 days after arrival at the agent.
Liability
Schenker assumes expanded
liability in the event of damage or loss up to the confirmed value of the goods,
although this is subject to a limit of SEK 5,000/item from a single consignor to
the same consignee on the same occasion.
Options
COD
COD amounts and the bank giro number should be
written in the relevant box on the transport document. The price is shown in the
price list belowe.
Extra goods insurance
For valuable goods, extra goods insurance ought
to be taken out through Schenker. This is ordered when you book your transport.
